Life is a Merry-GO-Round

JOINING ME in this journey is...

JEAN LORRAINE GONZALES PAL
- is a native of Davao City, born on April 21, 1976. The only child of Juan and Maria Loreto of Matalom, Leyte and Davao City respectively. She attended Ateneo De Davao University and received a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing in October of 1998.

Jean Lorraine or dotingly called "JL" got married at age 23 and gave birth to her eldest daughter, Mikaela Francesca who is now 13 years old.  Unfortunately, her marriage did not work out so, had to be separated 3 years after with a newborn baby girl at the same time... Chelsea Jeanille is now 10.

Now, JL is faced with the most challenging role in her life... raising her kids alone with the kind help of her parents who accepted her situation without any hesitation. Challenging, because not only she holds dual responsibility being the mother and father to her kids but she takes pride in accomplishing this mission. She never gets tired working hard for the money to provide for her children.

The unwavering guidance of her mother is her source of physical strength while her faith in God is her foundation for spirituality... Deuteronomy 31:16

"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

Now she's busy managing her own Internet CafĂ© and making extra bucks, engaging into some online opportunities.  The nature of her business opens up an avenue for a new found passion... blogging. She now owns two active sites: her fashion and lifestyle page - GlamourholicMom and personal site - Pal Raine, as she is popularly known in the blogosphere.

LIFE for Jean Lorraine is a carousel ride, going up and down... going around in circles. It's a merry-go-round like this passage goes:

"You cannot see what is
around the corner, til you
take the turn.

One day your up, next day
your down.

Things never remain the
same you've learned."

... and this song perfectly relates to her life.

    1. Carousel happens to be one of her favorite songs and it somehow relates to her life... going round and round like a merry-go-round. Her life keeps moving on and there's no stopping her.

  13. I'd rather see life as a roller coaster with much more variations to live with than a mere merry-go-round that just goes round and round.
