Blue Isn't Sad At All

Blue Isn't Sad At All by Simplymarrimye

Blue is the color of the sea
reflecting the sky
We see the beauty of day...
so promising
We see the wonder of the beach...
so inviting.
The sand is smooth
yet blazing hot
It welcomes any soul
to be cuddled and embraced.
There's euphoria and hope
upon looking up
It's brightness constantly glares
The atmosphere is an Arcadia of bliss
We wish it will never fade...
and never disappear.
We are sad when we feel blue
but not in this case
The color means...
seeking peace and tranquility
It's nostalgic, persistent and determined.

LIKE Poles Attract

Like poles attract by simplymarrimye

LIFE is not only
a mixture of
sweet and sour
liquid and solid
high and low
smooth and rough
MAN and WOMAN...
but anything in between
is no longer unusual.

Why do some people prefer something different? We all have choices to make. We are born with own distinct identities and as we develop into an adult capable of knowing and reasoning, we are exposed to an environment with extremely wide variety of values, social norms, rules of conduct, customs and practices. As human beings, we have the desire to understand every aspect of the world we live in. Our natural curiosity of the many things around us will lead us to defining our own self and bring us to a journey of limitless exploration.

Who are we? What are we?

These questions now lie beneath the realm of self individuality.

The discussion of gender preferences are predominantly articulated for centuries by philosophers, religious leaders and writers. From ancient times to today, there are countless reasons and diversity of opinions regarding the theories of engaging to same gender relationships.

To live life as how we desire to live it.

Nowhere To Find

Nowhere to find by simplymarrimye

We've been to many places
have met people along the way.
We've heard some good stories
and weathered some bad days.

The past is no longer visible
yet remained in our reverie
It has brought weeps of sorrow
and tears of pride and glee.

Our hearts may keep seeking
the love that is lost.
The quest may take a lifetime
we have to pay what it costs.

You have loved and failed...
but whatever reason is behind such struggle
you have to keep your heart alive
even the search has come full circle.

"Are You Tired Enough?"

"We'll never get tired of loving.. It's the hurting that drains our body and spirit." by simplymarrimye

How many times
do you have to keep saying...
"It's over!"
but your heart can hardly
bear the loss.

How many times
do you have to believe in
promises...
when trust is gone and words are doubtful?

How many times
do you have to give up and
turn your back
if your heart overpowers your mind?

How many times
do you have to be beaten
and bruised
before you surrender and give up the fight?

Maybe, you never get enough of
love and hurt
until you are emotionally
drained, exhausted and tired.
